About The Tangential Rummager

Rummage: verb. 1. To engage in an indirect or haphazard search. 2. To make a thorough search or investigation.

We’ve all done it- start to look on YouTube or Wikipedia and other sites with one purpose- then only to find ourselves going off on a tangent andsearching and finding clips and stories from society, culture, arts etc that make or memories go wild, and our trivial knowledge bloom.

I do this just about everyday myself. Not all day mind you, but when I remember an old Tv show or music clip I’ll try and find it on the internet. And depending on what site I use, that will usually end up jogging my memory about something else that I will then go and search. It also happens when I am challenged trivially. In this case I will search resource sites such as Wikipedia. But this will start me off on a tangent because information in the piece I’m reading will set me off to find something that is related.

And all this is entertaining, interesting, enjoyable and insightful. So I thought- Why not record my daily internet tangent surfing and post it here- Maybe others will enjoy coming on this virtual journey with me, and be thankful for some of the things I’m finding, and more importantly enjoy it.

I plan to record all my daily internet tangent rummaging in the hope you will find it entertaining and also jog your memories and take you back in time and also enlighten you with many trivial discoveries.

Plus it seems quite a voyeuristic practice aswell. Cyber-voyeurism. You are looking into a part of my daily life. Oh naughty naughty 😉
